Who we are:
Miss Africa is a blowing full steam as its creator (The government of cross river state.) we ate focused on fulfilling it's promise of promoting, showcasing and developing cross river state, as well as Nigerians environmental and eco-friendly lifestyle with the amalgamation of beauty, fashion, and charity.
The Miss Africa calabar Nigeria beauty pageant is a brandchild of pro. Sen.Ben Ayade, the governor of cross river state, who himself is a strong environmental activists, a man who can give up everything he has for the protection of the environment. A vibrant leader and entrepreneur whose resume spans over decades,with vivid goals,clarity and work ethics soaked in specificily .
The pageant and international brand,the Miss Africa pageant,an initiative of cross river state government to add value tithe annual Christmas festival/carnival calabar.This brand is the geared towards promoting the annual theme of the festival. Each constant would be camped for three (3)Weeks where will be mentored, drilled, I and taught how to speak, walk, and behave respectively, becoming a voice and face of positive change across communities. The grand finale will see the Miss Africa Queen crowned.she will lead other contestants in campaigning to make the world a better place for humility by promoting African's positively to the World at large.
Miss Africa 2019 pageant is hosted by his Excellency the Executive Governor of cross river state prof. Sent. Ben Ayade.
Aim and Objective.
Aficanisms refer to characteristics of African culture that can be traced society practice and I institutions of the African people have displayed many form of culture retention of their African ancestors. The contestants will display true Africanism using their countries indigenous cultural heritage,mineral resources, human capacities,tourism and investment opportunity in their country and how it will benefit African's for Africans at large. This edition is also aimed at uniting African's communities and the leadership of our great mother-land in the battle against hatred ,poverty and, self-ensalvement and xenophobic, corruption and all the issues that make us less human to the rest of the world.
It is time to raise a true African beautiful, elegant and intelligent Queen that the world stand tall of the African walk way with the heels of confidence, fearless face and audible voice to challenge the negativity that has been attacted to the black skin over the years...... The time to embrace our culture heritage, God given resources and pride in the black continent is NOW........
