MR TONY BISONG A PARAGON OF ADMIRATION.

 

 Mr Tony Bisong, a CrossRiverian from Boki LGA was born into the Bisong's family on the 4th  of August 1990,at the General Hostipal Calabar.
   He had his primary school education at Holy Family primary school Ikom, and had his Secondary school education at the prestigious St Patrick's Secondary school Ikot Ansa calabar(2008),and later moved to MiddleiSex University London where he had his first degree in information technology and bagged an MSC in the same university having another degree  in Computer Networks in the year 2016. According to him, his degrees has additional advantage to a broad area of Business Management systems which covers a whole lot on it's own.
      After completing the one (1) year NYSC programme in his country Nigeria, he got his first employment in the University Of Calabar as a lecturer in the Department Of Mass communication And Digital Media on the 27th of August 2018. Being aligned with the ICT and practical aspect of mass communication other than theory, he puts the students through with the practical aspect of their courses while substituting a little theoretically.
       According to him, coming back to Nigeria and practicing the Lecturing work is a die hard passion and zeal borne out of the interest to impact on others what he has acquired so far, academically, morally and otherwise in a bid to rightly groom and shape.
      In his words "life is practically full of challenges but one's

ability to walk through confidently while overcoming ,is simply heroic. Interestingly, so far in his lecturing experience, he learns every day from the students and his colleagues, knowing the perfect recation to a particular situation and relating sociably with all that comes around  not restricting his other sides in serious matters and issues. Everyday according to him especially with the students unveils a new and special chapter to identify and know each person's strength and weakness.
     He identified his likes for students, generally people with honest, dilligence, and focused attitude as he expressed his sadness over students in particular who come to school and lose their focus in a bid to chase irrelevant, most times illegal and unserious issues or ideas. He believes everyone's reality must have a full consumption of honesty, hardwork,and due diligence as the "change we want in our country, school, everywhere first begins with us". When asked if he belongs to any professional body or organization he responded in the affirmative, as he is a member of ASUU(The Academic Staff Union Of Universities). He said man is an' insatiable being' and he is not satisfied so far where he is, as he has better and higher goals to accomplish for the overall betterment of his career and life.
In his concluding words, he admonished students in particular to adopt good role models and mentors as this is an added boost to their academic career and overall life and gladly mentioned Prof.Joe Bisong as one of his role models and the great "Bill gates". "Learning is an idea one adopts, if adopted rightly ,you never cease to learn the right and good things, if adopted wrongly, the mind and the overall individual also gets cultivated in the wrong way", this where the words of an intellect Mr Tony Bisong.
